Not really far from motorway.
-
We had booked a family room. The room rate was reasonable. The hotel was fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was conveniently close to the autoroute.
We thought the breakfast was pricey for what was offered (at 15 euros per person), as was the evening meal in the restaurant. If we return this way,we would find somewhere else to eat.
-
Ideal overnight stop en route to the south of France. Beaune is a beautiful and historic city and Beaune Novotel provided an ideal base to visit the city. The hotel was very well equipped and comfortable - even providing tea and coffee in the bedroom, which we take for granted in British hotels but is more unusual in France. Breakfast was nicely presented and offered a good variety and was served in a very pleasant restaurant overlooking the swimming pool.
-
The restaurant service is very bad, and the food even worse.
-
The hotel looked new & was clean & the bedrooms were a good size. Also, the location was great as it was just four/five minutues drive from the motorway, which made it easy to find.
The only issue was how busy the restaurant was between was 8.30am until 9.30 and how long it took (approx15 mins) to bring fresh food onto the buffet selection.
-
Wonderful family room with interconnecting door, ideal for our stopover night on our way to the ski resort in the Alps. Good parking facility for a car packed with wintersport gear. Good beds, no noise, spacious rooms.
the lay-out of the breakfast room causes a lot of traffic around the tables, which is a bit disturbing. This was a crowded morning with a lot of people in the room. Tea, coffee and chocolate should be brought to the table, not self service, resulting in awful tepic tea and awful instant chocolate.
-
I liked the facilities for the children ie books and x-box and it was clean and refreshing and modern.
-
1) Bathroom hand-basin : water did not flow out properly 2) breakfast : quality of scrambled eggs was simply disgusting - like mushed potatoes.
-
This is an excellent hotel if you want to break the journey from Italy to the channel. It is conveniently located just off the motorway, is clean and comfortable and also has an excellent restaurant, plus a range of breakfast options.
-
Ideal location for a stop over on drive South. 20 min walk to Beaune centre which is lovely, should not be missed.
Only real downside was the price of the breakfast. Not at all worth 14Euros. We had breakfast in the room which was even more of a rip off as you don't get seconds!! Very poor selection in room service trays!
-
Staying at the hotel was a welcome break from our long drive to Provence.
-
Its a simple and modern hotel.
The staff in the restaurant is not friendly, are uninterested and are only talking with each other instead of with the quests. The staff in the restaurant let you wait for more than 20 minutes before they serve you.
-
Everything, service was great, food at breakfast was excellent but please don,t use powdered eggs they taste horrid
Could the pool be cleaned at night so i could use it in the evening and in the early morning
-
They charged us for milk to put in tea in our rooms. €2.70 is extortion. Nice looking hotel, but this was mean. Other than this the place was fine.
-
The hotel was conveniently located for us as a stop on the way from Calais to Provence. Near but not too near the motorway. The room was stylish, clean and comfortable; the staff were cheerful, helpful and courteous; the food was good. We would return.
